“Between stimulus and response there is a space. I “Between stimulus and response there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and our freedom. “ - Viktor Frankl One of the most undervalued leadership behaviours is the ability to pause. Horses understand the power of the pause. It is the deliberate choice to stop before reacting, speaking or deciding. The intent is to visually represent the essence of connection that emerges between horses and humans. Those who know my story know that my discovery of equine-assisted psychotherapy has been life altering - personally and professionally. I am not ready to go public with my paintings yet but this one comes closest to how I feel. This is my oldest daughter Sarah with my first horse Sunny who has since passed. This was the primary image for Building Internal Resilience through Horses. This is the magic. #art #equineassistedtherapy #pinkisthecolouroflove
