Embodied Expressions

A Workshop for Equine Assisted Learning Practitioners

In the presence of horses, listening to our impulses and allowing our body to respond in movement, with sounds, with poetry or with images, deepen a sacred space of possibility in embodied awareness and presence.

Exploring our creative expressions in collaboration with horses invites us to listen deeply to our emotions, thoughts, spirit and body knowing.

This palate of experiential learning activities will explore:

Our opportunities to ‘be’ with movement, sound, colour, images and horses
Collaboration through connection with horses and expressive arts, with a trauma-informed approach
Engagement in activities to strengthen our own awareness of different learning expressions, as Equine Facilitated and Equine Assisted Learning practitioners
Playfulness with our ‘inner teacher’
Sharing ideas how your horse partners have ‘inspired the creative spirit in your practice

Date: Friday, July 5, 2019

Time: 9:30 – 5:00 p.m.

Fee: $200 plus HST per person

Terms of Payment: Preferably cash, cheque or e-transfer — credit cards are accepted
