Viviane’s View: The Power of Energy

Do you believe in the power of energy?

At The Mane Intent, we believe in the change that comes from within. We believe that we can all be the best version of ourselves and we believe in the healing power of horses. One of the ways we can become our best version of ourselves is by becoming aware of our personal energy, its impact on others, and by learning to intentionally channel our energy  in a way that is healthy and is of best use for us. That’s why we believe horses are wonderful natural coaches. They understand the power of energy. They react and respond to energy. When working together with a human partner, horses mirror our energy and emotion and reflect back to us the behaviours and beliefs that may help us move forward or are keeping us stuck.

Why Horses?

We all carry energy that can empower us, energy that can heal us, and energy that can connect us to other living beings. Our personal energy is an infinite source of power, yet it often remains untapped or unused. Its invisibility makes it difficult for us to grasp. What if we could measure the energy we carry inside each of us? What if we could channel energy in a way that serves our need to heal or feel empowered or empower others? At The Mane Intent, our purpose is to connect you to the energy and power that lies within you. We believe that everyone can be their best self and that is why we do what we do: We want you to become the best and most empowered version of your self you can be.

Anything we do requires an investment of energy: no matter if we are walking, dancing or talking. Whether we are aware if it or not, we use our energy to move ourselves and also to move others. We use it to protect ourselves and also to protect others. Most of the time, we are not consciously aware of how we are using our energy and its impact on those around us. Unlike humans, horses are keenly aware of their energy and the energy of other living beings in their environment.  With this awareness, our horses work together with their human partners to illuminate the way we behave, think, feel and express ourselves impacts those around us. As prey animals, horses are highly sensitive to everything that is happening around them. They communicate 100% through their body language and through this unspoken dialogue, they invite us to pay attention to what is happening in our body and the flow of emotion that we might be holding onto.

Are you aware of your energy and the impact you might be having on those around you? Are you interested in exploring the things that might be holding you back from living your best self? Do you want to experience the special connection that occurs between horse and human and the resonance that occurs when the energy of our hearts creates a unique bond? If so, then our horses invite you to experience what happens when you work in partnership with horses as natural coaches. In experiential interactions guided by a professional facilitator and certified effectiveness coach, you gain self-knowledge and acquire skills that can lead to positive life changes at work, home and at play. We offer a variety of both individual and group facilitated workshops to help you discover ways to nurture and strengthen interpersonal connections, find connection and meaning in a busy life, unearth your talents, gifts and creativity, and live fully with intent and an open heart.

Goodbye Sunny

Goodbye Sunny

We said goodbye to Sunny on December 17, 2023 after he tragically broke his front leg. There was no recovering from his injury and the only option was to release him from his suffering. I lost a piece of my heart that morning. Sunny stepped into my life as I...

2024 Theme: Embodied Confidence

One New Year's ritual I've embraced over time is choosing a word or phrase for the year ahead. This word becomes an intention and a reminder of what matters to me right now...and is often easier to remember than a long list of resolutions!  This year, I'm choosing two...
