A Warm Welcome to Juliana Newport

We’re pleased to announce the arrival of Juliana Newport to our team for summer 2018. In her words, Juliana’s childhood was one “filled with horses, everything from spending days cleaning the barn to competing in horse shows.”

Along with her love for horses, she has just finished her third year as a Psychology Student at St. Francis Xavier University in Antigonish Nova Scotia, which together complements her interest in the experiences delivered by our team at The Mane Intent.

With prior insight into how horses yearn to create relationship and provide loving, non-judgmental support for people, Juliana hopes to deepen her knowledge of the connection between horses and greater wellness while working at the farm this summer.

“This surely will be an eye opening and moving experience for me and I am very grateful to Jennifer and the herd for allowing me to join them! I hope the support I can provide the horses, participants in the programs, and Jennifer will be of great value, as I’m sure I will find a great value in the experience myself,” she says adding: “Coming from a creative background, with many new ideas, and a background in psychology, I am very excited to take this challenge on and broaden my knowledge of the wonderful work of horses as coaches.”

We’re very excited to have you here too Juliana. A warm welcome to you from the herd!
