We #LoveLocalPtbo

The Mane Intent is pleased to be a supporter of the Peterborough Chamber of Commerce’s Love Local Campaign. It is all about celebrating and supporting local business.

What is Love Local?

It’s a community wide campaign by the Chamber to encourage people to keep their town in business by keeping their business in town. When you attend a Chamber event, the Chamber makes a draw from every business card that is dropped off at their events through the year and someone wins $1000 to spend with any of the sponsors, including The Mane Intent.

Why support a local business?
• It helps to increase the local tax base when businesses thrive and grow – creating more funding for infrastructure improvements like roads and bridges
• Employees and businesses can support more charitable giving – helping to make the community healthier overall
• You have the benefit of developing deeper relationships with local business owners who are neighbours and friends
• It supports the unique character of Peterborough and the Kawarthas – a wonderful place to live, work and play
