The Mane Intent is a Referral Source for Victim Services

Victim Services Peterborough and Northumberland (VSPN) is a confidential, community-based service that provides immediate emotional and practical support to survivors of crime and tragedy. VSPN is a non-profit, charitable, community-based organization comprised of specially trained staff and volunteers available free of charge to Peterborough and Northumberland Counties. Working alongside emergency service partners, VSPN provides immediate crisis response, intervention and prevention services which are responsive to the needs of individuals, families and communities affected by crimes and sudden tragedies.

The Mane Intent offers in-person equine-assisted psychotherapy as well as virtual and in-person psychotherapy to young people aged 6 and up and adults referred by Victim Services. Individuals referred by Victim Services have access to funding for these services.
